Sinopse
Em 26 de Novembro de 1956 Fidel Castro vai de barco para Cuba com oito rebeldes. Um destes rebeldes é Ernesto "Che" Guevara, médico argentino que divide um objetivo com Fidel – derrubar a ditadura corrupta de Fulgencio Batista. Che se mostra um lutador indispensável e rapidamente compreende e controla a arte da guerrilha armada. Sua dedicação à luta faz com que seja acolhido por seus companheiros e pelo povo cubano. O filme acompanha a ascensão de Che na Revolução Cubana, de médico a comandante e a herói revolucionário. Produção que faz parte do projeto duplo, filmado ao mesmo tempo por Steven Soderbergh (o segundo filme se chama "Che - A Guerrilla").
